Abstrak
It seem like yesterday when we rapidly accumulating experience with the Stratus OCT in a variety of macular disorder and glaucoma led us to share our experiences with the readers in the 2nd Edition of "Optical Coherence Tomography of Macular Diseases and Glaucoma". while the Stratus OCT provided a unique capability of seeing through the various layers of retina as never before and empowered the retina specialist to answer some of the most challenging questions and make management decisions that were not possible before, it soon became apparent "Time domain" technology, that the instrument used, was slow, was sensitive to unclear media, did not scan in real time and hence did not give truly reproducible results.
