This book takes you to that world and introduces you to some of the men and women who helped from the basis of much of modern science, technology, medicine, and the understanding of our world. These men and women studied science from previous civilizations and other cultures under the umbrella of Muslim culture and civilization. They built upon this knowledge and in turn passed the achievements on to the modern world. These important advancements took place during medieval times, or what some call " the Middle Ages." It was a time when it seemed there was little to no innovation happening. But in Muslim civilization, which stretched from Spain to China, the Period was known as "the Golden Age."
