Abstrak
This book arises out of an Amsterdam panel entitled ‘Reforming ThaiPolitics? The Politics of Thailand’s Reforms’. With two exceptions (Streckfuss/Templeton and Connors) all the chapters in this book are by Amsterdam participants; and all Amsterdam paper-presenters are contributors tothe book (with the exception of Hewison’s co-presenter Malcolm Falkus, andPei-Hsiu Chen, who was unfortunately unable to give his paper due toillness). The aim of the Amsterdam panel was to generate debate: participants who held radically different views of the political reform process weredeliberately invited to take part
