Abstrak

A practical manual in how to meet the needs of Muslim clients, the book explains basic concepts of Islamic family law and how the english legal system can be used to satisfy the diverse needs of Muslim clients. Increasingly family law practitioners, whatever their speciallity, will have to deal with the affairs of Muslim clients or parties. This can throw up religious and cultural issues not always readily apparent to the anglicized mind. This book seeks to meet that need. The author is a practicing family barrister who stands within the Muslims community and thus has first hand daily experience of the issues she seeks to address.
