Abstrak

This clearly written guide to basic micro- and macro-economic principles presents its material in the traditional programmed learning style of the STG series. May serve as the main text for a review of basic economics or as a supplement to first-year economics courses. Provides a useful review of the mathematics and graphic analysis needed for economic problem solving. Exercises throughout each chapter test the reader on the material as it is presented, and a final self-test at the end of the text sums up the material covered. The biggest problem we have with just about any book we assign is that many of our students don't bother to read it before coming to class. Until now, no one has written a principles text in plain English.
